As Italian official Fabio Paratici is expected to be announced by Tottenham Hotspur as their new football director, it seems it will still take a while until he’s seen in London.
Outlet Calcio Mercato managed to spot the 48-year-old in Milan this afternoon. He was seen near a ‘well known hotel’ along with agent Giuseppe Riso.
Reporter Daniele Longo managed to film Paratici walking down the street, while his website writes that the official currently waits for his contract with Tottenham to be signed.
The report doesn’t even guess what Paratici could be discussing with Giuseppe Rizzo, although that could clearly open path for many rumours regarding Spurs’ transfer plans for the summer.
Recent reports from Italy have been claiming that Paratici has ‘total agreement’ with Tottenham, and should be announced by the club before the end of the week.
Now even though it only takes a direct flight from Milan to London so he can meet the club, it seems it should still take at least a day until he can actually be with Spurs’ board.
