Genoa’s Radu Dragusin is edging closer towards completing a move to Tottenham Hotspur. The latest claims from Italy have stated that he has picked Spurs over Bayern Munich and will arrive in London today to carry out transfer formalities.
The Romanian’s arrival will see Eric Dier drop further down the pecking order at the north London club. Ange Postecoglou hasn’t relied upon the 29-year-old even when his options were reduced in the centre-back position.
After losing Dragusin to Tottenham, Bayern are focusing on Dier. Bild state the track is finally clear for the German champions to sign the player.
The England international has less than six months left on his deal and the Bavarian club have made great progress to secure his services. That’s according to Sky Deutschland, who state Thomas Tuchel’s side have reached a verbal agreement with Dier.
Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg states the German champions have ‘examined all possible parameters’ to carry out the operation and are in direct contact with the Premier League side.
Plettenberg adds that if Bayern were to make an official offer of around €4m, Tottenham will give the green light to sell the former Sporting man this month.
