According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukraine international has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in recent days following reports Arsenal could offload the left back, and it now seems Fenerbahce are monitoring his situation.

Fotospor today report on Fenerbahce’s pursuit for Zinchenko as Jose Mourinho makes it one his priorities to sign a left back in this transfer window.

The Istanbul side sold Ferdi Kadıoğlu to Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer and with a long-term injury to Jayden Oosterwolde, the Portuguese coach needs to address this position.

It’s claimed Fenerbahce are ‘probing’ the idea of signing the Arsenal man and that an offer has come in from the Istanbul side.

However, it’s reported Inter Milan are still in talks with the Ukrainian and these meetings could eventually result in the Serie A side tabling a bid.

Zinchenko has made just seven appearances in the Premier League this season and is contracted to the Gunners until June 2026.
