Chelsea’s pursuit for a new striker now gets an update from the Italian media.
On Twitter, journalist Rudy Galetti points out the Blues have three specific targets to be their centre-forward for next season.
According to his report, the main name is Victor Osimhen, who’s had an outstanding season for Napoli and is now wanted by several clubs.
Galetti claims that to convince the Serie A side, Chelsea ‘could offer more than €100m’ for the Nigerian star.
It remains to be seen whether that would be enough for Napoli to accept negotiating his exit, since many reports from Italy have been speaking of a sale worth over €150m.
Now in case Chelsea don’t succeed in the pursuit of Osimhen, then the Blues have two other names on their list. One is Dusan Vlahovic, who’s been struggling a little at Juventus this season, and the other is Eintracht Frankfurt’s rising star Randal Kolo Muani.
The report doesn’t make it clear if Chelsea have one of them over the other, although it seems the Blues will only move for those two in case the chase for Osimhen goes badly.
