Nottingham Forest’s offer for the signing of Corinthians goalkeeper Carlos Miguel has now been leaked in the Brazilian media.
UOL journalist Bruno Andrade shared, in a Tweet, the official document which shows the Reds’ intention to pay €4m for the signing.
The offer was sent by Nottingham Forest on June 5th, supposed to be valid until June 7th. The price on it was for the player’s release clause.
Andrade adds that the Reds haven’t paid the fee yet, but will soon do so.
It’s said the document is a way for them to communicate there’s a negotiation ongoing with the player, as that’s basically proof that they spoke to the club and can’t be accused of tapping up.
The Brazilian media had already claimed that Nottingham Forest would wait a little to make the deal official, and it’s even possible they’ll wait for the start of July to complete the signing.
Carlos Miguel, meanwhile, has been playing normally for Corinthians, despite all the anger created as soon as it was reported that he’ll leaving the club for the City Ground side.
