On August 18th, TyC Sports stated Nottingham Forest had made an offer to sign Bologna’s Nicolás Domínguez.
The details of the Tricky Trees’ proposal weren’t mentioned but it was stated the Serie A side value the midfielder at €20m.
Sport Mediaset state Bologna have set their sights on Remo Freuler, who joined Nottingham Forest from Atalanta last summer. They add the Premier League side would like to include Domínguez as part of the deal.
This is echoed by Sky Italia, who provide additional updates on Bologna’s efforts to sign the Tricky Trees midfielder. This could help Nottingham Forest in their pursuit of 25-year-old Argentine.
Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori signed the Switzerland international for Atalanta in 2016. He’s leading his current club’s pursuit to sign the 31-year-old on a loan deal.
It’s claimed the ‘negotiations [are] underway’ between Steve Cooper’s side and the Italian club for Freuler. Nottingham Forest would ‘try to insert’ Domínguez as part of the deal.
Sky add that the temporary deal to take Freuler to Bologna could go ahead irrespective of whether the South American moves in the opposite direction.
