Nottingham forest winger Barrie McKay is very close to joining Olympiacos, report Greek website Sdna.Gr.
The 23 year old has recently been linked with a move to Greek giants and Sdna say talks are at an advanced stage.
Olympiacos board member Giannis Vrentzos has reportedly met with Nottingham Forest officials regarding the transfer of McKay. Vangelis Marikanis, who owns both clubs, will be key to any deal being done, with claims further talks will take place in Athens today.
Sdna claim a decision will be made in the coming days and it’s looking very likely McKay will become an Olympiacos player. The Greek side’s coach Pedro Martin has also given the green light to the transfer.
The former Rangers attacker played 26 games in the Championship last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists.
McKay only signed for Nottingham Forest 12 months ago from Rangers and he’s under contract at the City Ground until June 2021.
