Nottingham Forest are said to still be trying to sign Marco Amelia.
This week, Calcio Mercato already reported the club’s interest in bringing in the goalkeeper and the former Chelsea defender Alex, as both of them are free agents.
Now Sport Media Set are claiming that Forest are still after Amelia, who is targeted as the “right reinforcement for between the posts”.
The website describes Forest as “among the most ambitious clubs in the league” as they seek this signing after adding Nicklas Bendtner to the squad.
Amelia has also been linked to Sunderland, as Italian media outlets recently said he was on trial at David Moyes’ side.
The 34-year-old spent the last season at Chelsea as a third option. He failed to make any official appearances for the club and didn’t extend his contract.
