Nottingham Forest are in the mix to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe, according to claims.

The midfielder, who came up through the ranks of the Ligue 1 winners’ youth system, will find it hard to get more game time next season with Vitinha’s arrival and the impending signing of Lille’s Renato Sanches.

That’s according to Le10 Sport, who explain PSG are ‘clearly open to the departure’ of the 21-year-old and Nottingham Forest have come forward’ to sign him.

Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be in pole position to secure the France U21 international’s services this summer. They have been present on this case for more than a month, but have not been able to get a deal over the line.

The German club are joined by Steve Cooper’s side as the latter are ‘seduced’ by Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe’s profile.

Despite Nottingham Forest’s interest, Le10 state that, at the moment, Eintracht Frankfurt are clearly ahead in the transfer chase. They add ‘the case is closer to being completed in Germany than in England’.

The Frenchman’s contract expires in 2023 and PSG advisor Luis Campos hopes to collect between €5m and €10m from his sale this summer.
