Hwang Ui-jo hasn’t made an appearance for Nottingham Forest since they cut short his loan stay at Cardiff City in January.
The striker is unlikely to feature for the Premier League side as he’s set to make a switch to Alanyaspor. On Monday, we relayed news from Turkey that they have found an agreement with the Tricky Trees and that personal terms needed sorting out.
Fanatik state Alanyaspor have set their sights on the 31-year-old to bolster their attack for the second half of the season and add that he’s now ‘coming from Nottingham Forest’.
The winter market in Turkey is open until Friday, allowing Alanyaspor to carry out this operation. The deal is expected to go through soon, but Fanatik don’t provide details of the transfer formula.
This information is provided by Sports Digitale journalist Ertan Süzgün, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to explain that the Süper Lig side will take the South Korea international on a loan deal until the end of this season.
Süzgün further adds the Nottingham Forest player will arrive in Alanya on Tuesday, to carry out medical tests and other transfer formalities to secure a move to Alanyaspor.
