The Brazilian media today shares some bad news for Nottingham Forest.
According to journalist Guilherme Ramos, from Premier League Brasil, midfielder Danilo is set to get sidelined following a thigh injury.
The 22-year-old needed to help to get out of the pitch following the 2-1 defeat to Brentford at the weekend, where he even scored a goal.
Now according to this report, Danilo’s staff confirm that he should be out of Nottingham Forest’s squad for two games.
The midfielder had been a starter in all of the Reds’ recent matches in the Premier League, and scored in the past two fixtures.
Nottingham Forest stand in a fierce battle against relegation, with their next four games being against Southampton, Chelsea, Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
So the report says he should miss the clashes against the Saints and Blues, although we better wait and see whether he’ll return sooner or later than that.
Signed in a €20m deal from Palmeiras in the January transfer window, Danilo has 12 appearances for Nottingham Forest so far, and proved to have a bigger impact than his teammate Gustavo Scarpa.
