Two days ago, Sport reported Nottingham Forest are showing the most interest in Barcelona’s Abde Ezzalzouli, who is currently on a season-long loan deal at CA Osasuna.

The 21-year-old scored the winner in his side’s Copa del Rey victory over Sevilla and in the league win against Athletic Bilbao in the last two matches. Osasuna would fight to retain him on loan next season.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who state Osasuna would find it complicated because of interest from the Premier League, where Nottingham Forest are in the picture.

It’s said the Tricky Trees are the last club to have asked about the winger, without making it clear whether they asked his camp or the Catalan club.

The newspaper claims the Morocco international is a Xavi Hernández favourite but that doesn’t mean a deal cannot be carried out after this season.

In fact, Barcelona don’t rule out ‘making money’ from the player’s sale after his loan spell at Osasuna.

Nottingham Forest have set their sights on Abde and they would be delighted to know Barca’s stance on his potential sale in the summer.
