Nottingham Forest are ready to pay up to sign goalkeeper Carlos Miguel ‘in the coming days’, with the player set to arrive in July.
That’s according to O Estado de S. Paulo, who say the goalkeeper has told those in charge at Corinthians that he will be going to England this summer.
Reports throughout this week have had Miguel in the middle of a tug of war between Nottingham Forest and West Ham, with both making moves to get him.
The big day was Friday as various reports from Brazil emerged about the ongoing battle, with one eventually saying that he would be going to Nottingham Forest.
O Estado de S. Paulo follow that up and explain Miguel has informed the club’s board and their technical committee that he will be leaving the club.
The plan is to be available to them until the end of the month and then leave for England, where he is expected to sign for Nottingham Forest.
They are ready to pay up to make the transfer happen ‘in the coming days’ and have seemingly secured the player’s acceptance too.
