Say it quietly, but we may have some positive Nottingham Forest news. After a day of Nuno’s side generally getting a kicking from the Netherlands, there’s some brighter news on Tuesday evening coming from Italy.
Calciomercato report AS Roma are in negotiations to send Edoardo Bove to Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old midfielder has no room to flourish at the Serie A club, and the situation has got worse for him this summer. He’s been linked with multiple options, including from the Premier League, but still finds his future in the air as the deadline approaches.
Bove is not a part of the project for Daniele De Rossi, so the club are ready to sell and the player has been informed. Roma don’t want a dry loan and would instead push for a permanent transfer or, at least, a loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
Calciomercato report Nottingham Forest are the only Premier League club to have made a concrete offer for Bove. That offer was less than the player’s €15m Roma valuation and the two clubs are now negotiating to ‘try and meet each other’s needs’.
Bove’s thoughts aren’t shared.
