In the past few days, we’ve seen stories in the rumour mill claiming that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Alejando Grimaldo from Benfica.
The Eagles’ left-back has a contract expiring at the end of the season, and the Tricky Trees are apparently one of the sides who want to sign him for free.
It turns out that as Nottingham Forest look for a player for that position in Portugal, they seem to have found another target there.
That’s Chaves’ left-back Bruno Langa, who, according to outlet O Jogo, is a target for the City Ground side as well.
The 25-year-old is having an impressive season at the Portuguese club, and is apparently drawing interest from several sides.
Ironically enough, one of the clubs chasing him are Benfica, who are getting prepared for Grimaldo’s departure. The others are Leeds United and Lille.
O Jogo report Langa wants to finish the season well at Chaves and then analyse the approaches there are for him.
Even though Benfica are seen as a ‘motivating’ opportunity for him, Nottingham Forest and the other interested sides are still set to have a chance.
