Nottingham Forest have joined Fulham in the race to sign Inter Milan’s Mehdi Taremi this summer.
The Iran international joined the Serie A club on a free transfer in 2024 and was mainly used as a substitute, scoring three goals and registering nine assists last season.
He’s managed to attract attention of Marco Silva’s side, and we have covered claims from Italy about Fulham’s interest. Nottingham Forest are also in the battle to sign the striker.
That’s according to Saturday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, and they state ‘Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Beşiktaş are waiting’ for the 32-year-old. The three clubs have already contacted Inter, likely to ask the conditions needed to sign him.
Marco Silva’s side are said to be the most convinced to secure the former FC Porto man’s services.
His contract expires in 2027, but the Nerazzurri want to get rid of the frontman in this window. The newspaper states the Italian club have set a €10m starting price, but it’s negotiable. In other words, they could be willing to let Taremi leave for less than €10m.
Inter are waiting to see whether Nottingham Forest, Fulham or Beşiktaş will make further advances, after making contact.
