Jonathan Rowe will arrive in Marseille in the next few hours to finalise his move from Norwich City.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the player is already on his way to France to finalise the deal after an agreement.
Reports earlier today stated that Norwich had reached a verbal agreement with Marseille over Rowe. Those reports stated he would be joining on loan with a mandatory purchase clause included.
FM back that up, stating that Marseille have agreed to pay a €2m loan fee plus a compulsory €14.5m next summer for the winger.
That deal is now in place and Rowe has seemingly been given permission by Norwich to travel to Marseille. Indeed, FM report that he will arrive in the French club ‘in the next few hours’.
He will then presumably be scheduled in for a medical with Roberto de Zerbi’s side before finalising his move from Norwich.
He’ll be the latest signing in a busy summer for Marseille, who have done their utmost to back Roberto de Zerbi in the transfer window as they plan an ambitious season under the Italian coach.
