Rocky Bushiri arrived at Norwich City from KV Oostende last summer and was sent out on loan to Blackpool in the same window.

The 20-year-old’s stay at the League One club was cut short in the winter market and he was then allowed to join Sint-Truiden on a short-term temporary deal.

He made seven league appearances for the Jupiler Pro League side in the second half of the 2019/20 season, which includes six starts.

According to Het Belang van Limburg, the Belgian side had an agreement with the Canaries to extended the centre-back’s loan deal for one more season. However, that will be broken because of KV Mechelen.

It’s claimed that Mechelen want to take the defender on loan for the upcoming season and they have already agreed personal terms with the Belgium U21 international.

In addition to this, Daniel Farke’s side have also agreed to allow their player to join Mechelen on loan. HBVL add the latest development has left Sint-Truiden ‘empty-handed’.

Bushiri’s loan deal with Sint-Truiden expires on June 30th and the newspaper states it’s ‘doubtful’ whether or not he will continue training with them until the end of this month.
