Everton loanee Nikola Vlasic has spoken to the Russian media about this future with the Premier League club.
In recent weeks, Vlasic has been linked with a move to Turkish club Besiktas, and CSKA Moscow also looking to keep him beyond this season.
The 22 year old is currently on loan with the Russian club, where he’s impressed in this campaign.
Speaking to Sport Express, the Croatian attacker said he hasn’t yet spoken with Everton with regards to his future on Merseyside: “There are people who are responsible for transfers. Let them deal with this issue. I’ve decided to focus on the final part of the championship in Russia.
“I know that the final word will be mine. But for now, I’m not ready to talk about the future. Nobody has called from Everton.”
The youngster also spoke to the Russian press after their defeat against Orenburg at the weekend and said he’s unclear about his future. “I don’t know where I will play next season”
In the past week Vlasic has been linked with a number of clubs, with reported interest from Russia, Italy and Turkey.
However, his agent recently said the Croatia international is keen to remain with CSKA at least for another season.
Vlasic has made 25 appearances for CSKA Moscow in all competitions and scored 8 goals.
The Croatian is contracted to Everton until June 2022.
