Manuel Ugarte wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester United and is waiting for the two clubs to agree a deal.

Luis Enrique didn’t consider the midfielder for the clash against Le Havre last weekend. On Sunday, PSG will host Montpellier and have confirmed that Ugarte will be left out of the squad again.

RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins claims the 23-year-old is ‘waiting for his departure’ to Manchester United.

L’Equipe state the Uruguay international is waiting for his agent, Jorge Mendes, to give the green light to travel to England.

There’s ‘no longer any doubt’ that the player will end up at Manchester United before the window closes. The two clubs continue to negotiate as there are still some details that need to be ironed out.

It’s claimed the formula will be a loan deal with an obligation to buy set at €60m. L’Equipe say PSG are trying to convince Erik ten Hag’s side to buy the player in this window.

RMC Sport state the Red Devils aren’t ready to do anything crazy, while PSG don’t want to lower the fee below €60m. Despite this, the report says the two clubs intend to agree a deal.

To sum it up, all three parties are in favour of a transfer and there’s optimism of it being done in the coming days.
