On Wednesday, AreaNapoli reported Napoli could look to sign Nottingham Forest’s Dan Ndoye in January.

The winger joined the Tricky Trees from Bologna in the summer, and the Partenopei were keen on him then but missed out.

Before speculation about the Swiss star could take off, it has now been killed.

Emanuele Cammaroto wrote about the Nottingham Forest player in his column for NapoliMagazine.

The journalist revealed there is “no evidence of a possibility” that the 24-year-old could leave the City Ground in January.

He described the rumours about Ndoye as ‘sensational’. Even though Nottingham Forest haven’t had a great Premier League season, the ex-Bologna attacker’s future is secure under Sean Dyche.

So far this campaign, the winger has been one of the highlights for Nottingham Forest.

He has a goal and an assist in the Premier League, as well as a goal in the Europa League, finding the net against Midtjylland.

Ndoye has shown dribbling ability, and played across the front three, demonstrating clear versatility. As Dyche’s side gain stability in the second half of the season, he can really catch fire.
