Michy Batshuayi, Steve Mandanda, Nicolas N’Koulou, and few others have left Marseille this summer. The Ligue 1 side have also made a few signings, and are certainly the busiest club in the transfer window in France.
However, they’re not done yet. Marseille are still trying to sign Tottenham’s Clinton N’Jie, whilst newly appointed captain Lassana Diarra could be leaving.
According to French website Foot Mercato, Romain Alessandrini could also be leaving Marseille in the last few days of the transfer window.
Newcastle United are believed to be interested in the 27-year-old and are ready to offer €5m for his services.
L’Equipe say it remains to be seen if Alessandrini would be interested in signing for the Championship side. The French winger came close to signing for Lazio and Olympiacos earlier in the transfer window, and has also rejected an offer from MLS side Kansas City.
Alessandrini had 8 goals and 4 assists to his name last season in just over 1700 minutes of football, and has another two years left on his contract.
