Newcastle United’s Javier Manquillo has been restricted to 34 minutes of action from four league games this season.
The right-back has a contract lasting until 2024 but he’s likely to leave the Tyneside club in the next window, according to AS.
It’s claimed the 29-year-old’s ‘exit operation is beginning to take shape’ as he’s included in the list of transferable players at Newcastle.
The Spaniard’s lack of game time and the time left on his deal means the transfer could be carried out for a ‘relatively low amount.’
Manquillo would also welcome a change after spending six years with the Magpies and clubs from Spain, England, Germany and France are keen to close a deal for him in the summer.
In fact, the report adds the Newcastle defender has ‘offers from four countries’, without specifying the details of clubs. The former Atlético Madrid man, for his part, would prefer to return to his home country in the summer.
AS don’t mention of the fee needed to take Manquillo away from Eddie Howe’s side.
