Eddie Howe admires the 22-year-old, but Newcastle haven’t yet made a concrete offer to sign him. The defender would be happy to continue at the San Siro, while the Serie A side won’t sell him for less than €35m.
Calciomercato say ‘there’s time to start a negotiation but it cannot be infinite’, and this means the Premier League side have to act quickly if they want to secure his services.
It’s claimed the Germany international won’t be sold towards the end of the window as the Rossoneri won’t have sufficient time to find a suitable replacement.
