On Wednesday, we covered multiple claims from Italy that Newcastle United are insisting on signing Malick Thiaw. It was also stated they are using his agents to inform AC Milan they are moving for the defender.

Eddie Howe admires the 22-year-old, but Newcastle haven’t yet made a concrete offer to sign him. The defender would be happy to continue at the San Siro, while the Serie A side won’t sell him for less than €35m.
It’s claimed the Germany international won’t be sold towards the end of the window as the Rossoneri won’t have sufficient time to find a suitable replacement.
Newcastle are thought to be interested in Crystal Palace’s Marc Guéhi as well. He’s managed by Unique Sports Group, who also represent Thiaw.
