Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are among the clubs chasing Juventus’ Matias Soulé.
The winger has been on loan at Frosinone since last summer and has starred this season, managing 10 goals and two assists from 24 games. This has caught the attention of several Premier League sides.
That’s at least what Tuttosport, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, are reporting and they name both Newcastle and Crystal Palace as the 20-year-old’s interested parties.
This has pleased the Old Lady, who are following his explosion at Frosinone with ‘interest and satisfaction’, as they have an opportunity to cash in from his sale in the summer.
With regards to both Newcastle and Crystal Palace, it’s claimed their scouts have been keeping close tabs on the Argentina U20 international, and the Premier League duo ‘could soon make concrete offers’ to acquire his services.
There’s no mention of the figure Eddie Howe’s side or the Eagles could propose to sign the Juventus owned player. Soulé’s deal at the Turin club lasts until 2026 and the report says he’s valued at ‘at least €40m’.
The South American needs an ambitious sporting project, which is why he’s already rejected Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad in the winter market.
