As Nahuel Ferraresi prepares to leave Manchester City to join São Paulo, we get to see today some new information about this move.
The update comes from Portugal, where journalist Pedro Sepulveda reports the ‘total agreement’ between the clubs for the transfer.
The story claims São Paulo are landing Ferraresi on a loan deal, and in case they want to sign him permanently, they’ll need to pay Manchester City €6m, with the Premier League side still keeping 40% of a future sale.
The defender was signed by the Citizens back in 2017, but never really had a chance to make his debut for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Following the loan spells at Montevideo City Torque, Peralada, Porto, Moreirense and Estoril, he now tries to impress in Brazilian football, where he could perhaps get a permanent move.
Ferraresi isn’t the only Manchester City player signed by São Paulo this summer.
Earlier this month, the Tricolor also announced the arrival of striker of Nahuel Bustos, who is arriving in Brazil on a loan with an option to buy as well.
