It appears that Justin Kluivert’s move to Fulham FC is heading in the right direction, according to the Italian media.
Corriere dello Sport are the ones providing the update, recalling previous reports that the Dutchman ‘has accepted an offer’ from the Craven Cottage side, ‘who only want him on loan’.
Over at AS Roma, however, the idea is to get rid of him permanently, which is what they are trying to convince Fulham to put on the table.
There is competition for Marco Silva and co., as the newspaper explain ‘there are two Italian clubs, two Portuguese and a Greek club’ willing to negotiate a permanent transfer.
However, it appears Kluivert would favour a move to the Premier League, and there was good news in that department last night.
Corriere explain ‘negotiations accelerated in the evening’ because Fulham ‘agreed to include the redemption obligation linked to the number of appearances’.
That’s a big step for all involved, suggesting that this could unfold in the very near future, with less than two weeks left in the transfer window.
