Following all the recent stories linking Leeds United defender Robin Koch with a Bundesliga move, we now see that he could end up in Serie A.

Sky Italia journalist Franceso Modugno (via Gianluca Di Marzio) is the one revealing this possibility, as he speaks of Kim Min-jae’s departure from Napoli.

It’s claimed the Serie A club have two names on their list to replace the Korean, and Koch is the first one.

The report says Napoli had been interested in the Leeds player before, and he’s now returned to being a target.

There are not many details on the chase for the 26-year-old, despite some compliments claiming he ‘stands out for his physicality and ability in aerial play’.

The German media have been claiming that Koch is a target for Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. And with him wanting a leadership role, it was claimed he even snubbed the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United, who could keep him in the Premier League. The latter claims felt unlikely.

Now in case Napoli show up as an option, that could be an interesting destination for the Leeds United player.
