Marca have a big feature in their Tuesday edition on Real Madrid selling Alvaro Morata and Danilo and bringing in a lot of money for the pair.
Manchester City remain in the race, insist Marca, despite the purchase of Kyle Walker. The Spanish newspaper explain that Danilo can also play in midfield or on the left side, and could also provide competition to Walker.
However, with Danilo wanting to leave Real Madrid purely for more minutes, he’s hardly going to be excited by the prospect of being a back-up player at Manchester City.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City are trying to ‘seduce’ Danilo, report Marca, and movements in the ‘final hours’ of this week are potentially decisive on whether the defender goes to Stamford Bridge or the Etihad.
That, of course, means very little, and it doesn’t seem like Danilo’s potential transfer is moving too quickly.
