Dutch outlet Soccer News today features a nice interview with Millwall star Zian Flemming.

The versatile attacker, who’s been in good form for the Championship side this season, is already being linked to a summer move, and doesn’t mind talking about that possibility.

It’s recalled that Flemming drew interest from Burnley last summer, and even though Millwall managed to keep him, ‘anything can happen’ at the end of this season.

The player admitted that an exit from the Championship side is a real possibility, pointing out that he has big aspirations for his career.

“I want to play as high as possible, that won’t surprise anyone. Our common goal is to get promoted to the Premier League with Millwall. Unfortunately, we did not succeed last year and the same goes for this year. Plan B is then to make a move myself, but then the club must also get a nice transfer fee. Whether that will be this summer or later, I don’t dare say at this stage.”

Flemming started his career at Ajax, and was even asked about the possibility of returning to the Dutch club in the summer.

“I do not know. First I have to finish the season here. Ajax must first get its own things in order before they think about transfers.”

Millwall only spent €2.5m to sign Flemming from Fortuna Sittard back in the summer of 2022.

He had an impressive first season in England, with 15 goals, and that’s why he was quickly linked with a move. Now as he continues to improve, Millwall will expect a fee which reflects his importance to the club.
