There’s a claim in the French media that Hull City are close to signing FUS Rabat midfielder Reda Laalaoui.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Championship side in recent weeks and a move now looks close.
Footmercato today report Hull City are looking to complete a deal for the central midfielder in the coming days.
It’s claimed transfer talks are at a very advance stage and that the Moroccan is now expected to fly to England ahead of completing his move. There are no reports when a medical is likely to take place, although one will need to be done to conclude the deal.
With Hull City securing their place in the English second tier on the final day of the season they can now plan for the next campaign. Laalaoui now looks to be their first signing of the summer after going up against clubs from Portugal, the Netherlands and Belgium in the race to land the youngster.
Pre-dominantly a central midfielder, Laalaoui can also play as an attacking or defensive midfielder.
Laalaoui is contracted to his current club until June 2026 and has been with them since signing from FUS Rabat Espoirs in 2023.
