There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Besiktas are still interested in signing Fulham attacker Adama Traore.
The Spaniard was linked with a move to the Black Eagles in November after reports they were lining up an offer for him.
Sporx today report on Besiktas’ pursuit fof the Fulham player and they say new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to sign him in this window.
The Norwegian has made it his priority to bolster his attacking options before next month’s transfer deadline and Traore is said to be high on his list. Besiktas have also been linked with Southampton centre-forward Paul Onuachu.
It’s claimed Besiktas are looking to get a low-cost deal agreed with Fulham due to his contract situation. The 28-year-old’s contract expires in the summer and although the Premier League side have the option to extend this for another season, this has yet to be activated.
According to Sporx a meeting is planned with the Fulham winger as they look to convince him over a move to Istanbul.
Traore has made 23 appearances for Fulham this season, scoring two goals.
