Mateusz Klich has made two starts for Leeds United this season and both of them came in the EFL Cup.
A lack of game time with the Whites saw the midfielder left out of the Poland squad for the 2022 World Cup, which has been the biggest disappointment of his career.
That’s according to WP SportoweFakty, who state the 32-year-old is not satisfied with his situation at Leeds.
Therefore, his future could be away from Elland Road and he has two options to leave Jesse Marsch’s side in the winter market.
The player is attracting interest from DC United, and the MLS side have been asking about him ‘most intensely’. A move to America will see Klich play under Wayne Rooney. He also has an opportunity to continue in Europe as Royal Antwerp are interested in his services.
Klich’s deal at Leeds expires in 2024, but the report states there are ‘many indications’ he will not fulfil it. In fact, it is ‘likely’ the Pole will leave the Premier League side in January.
It remains to be seen whether Klich will continue at Leeds or leave them for another club in the next window.
