Everyone knows that Manchester United need a new striker this summer, with few clubs as aware as Napoli, since the Red Devils keep getting linked with Victor Osimhen.
The Serie A side have always made it clear any interested party will have to pay a lot of money for the Nigeria international, with some claiming a fee as high as €150m being needed.
That’s the figure Gazzetta dello Sport put forward on Monday when looking at the player’s future, with Manchester United mentioned as an interested party.
They explain that many big clubs are keen on the prolific forward, but the asking price of €150m, stemming from Aurelio De Laurentiis himself, means that potential buyers ‘are waiting for the right moment for an offer’.
The belief is that it will take ‘at least a month’ to understand where the situation stands, time Napoli will use to try a put together an extension for their star.
If all hell breaks loose and Manchester United, or another club, come forward with the requested amount, then Jonathan David is being looked at to potentially replace Osimhen.
