For those who think Manchester United are taking too long to place their bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, it’s better not to expect any moves in the coming days.
That’s according to La Nazione journalist Riccardo Galli, who was today interviewed by Radio Bruno’s Pentasport.
In quotes brought by Viola News, the reporter claimed Manchester United are in no hurry to sign Amrabat, and will be waiting until the end of the transfer window to make a move.
“It is a situation that will be resolved in the last few days of the transfer market. Manchester United know they’re alone on the player, there is no rush. Bringing it close to the gong could lower the price. There’s no rush, I’d be surprised if it clears up within a few days.”
The Italian media continues to insist that about €30m is needed to take Amrabat from Fiorentina.
Reports today have claimed that Manchester United are also moving for another midfielder, as they’re in contact to sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.
Still, even though only Fred and Michael Sabitzer left Erik ten Hag’s midfield so far, rumours say Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek could also be on their way out of Old Trafford.
So it wouldn’t be strange if the Red Devils go after two more targets in that sector, following the early arrival of Mason Mount this summer.
