Manchester United are ‘ready to welcome’ Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as they continue their summer building.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the Moroccan and striker Rasmus Hojlund have ‘packed their bags’ ahead of the move to Old Trafford.
After completing a move for Andre Onana from Inter Milan, Manchester United are ‘ready to welcome’ two more Italian based players into their squad and Amrabat is one of them.
Their plan is to try and be title contenders in the Premier League next season and adding to their midfield and forward line is key to that.
They are the favourites for both Amrabat and Hojlund, although they are yet to reach an economic agreement with Fiorentina for the former.
The Serie A side have demanded a €30m fee for the World Cup semi-finalist but those in charge at Manchester United are confident they can close the deal for €22m plus bonuses.
Erik ten Hag has remained coy on the deal when asked about it publicly, but the reality is that work is ongoing behind the scenes and two more players could be arriving at Manchester United sooner rather than later.
