As well as a striker, Manchester United are in the market for a new right-back, despite improved performances from Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
It seems Erik ten Hag might want someone a bit more attacking than the former Crystal Palace star, and that’s why players such as Jeremie Frimpong are being looked at.
However, the Dutchman isn’t the only player on Manchester United’s list, with another name now surfacing thanks to RMC Sport.
That man is AS Monaco’s Vanderson, who could leave the club next summer as they look set to miss out on Champions League football.
Manchester United, on the other hand, should be able to give him that, and that’s why they are ‘ready to position themselves’ to sign him should an opening for an exit appear from the Ligue 1 side’s end.
Vanderson has made 34 appearances in all competitions for the principality side this season, scoring one goal and assisting another four from his right-back spot, although he has also been used a few times further up the pitch.
This also isn’t the first time Manchester United have been linked with the 21-year-old, as they were said to have already started moving for him last September.
