Anthony Martial’s contract at Manchester United expires in June and the Red Devils have an option to extend it for another year.
Several claims have stated Erik ten Hag’s side won’t exercise this option and Gazzetta dello Sport have echoed that when providing an update on his future.
This means the Manchester United forward will be a free agent in the summer, and he’s started searching for his next destination.
It’s claimed the 28-year-old ‘offers himself’ to Inter Milan, and evaluations are underway at the San Siro, on whether or not to sign him.
The Nerazzurri’s interest isn’t new as they have tried to sign him in the past, including during the winter market. They already have a deal in place with FC Porto’s Mehdi Taremi to arrive on a free transfer.
Gazzetta state the Italian club must decide if they want to sign the Frenchman for nothing or invest in Genoa star Albert Gugmundsson. They will sign only one more attacker after Taremi.
Meanwhile, Martial continues to have a market, despite his struggles with injuries and poor form at Manchester United in recent years.
He wants to evaluate all the offers that are on the table, and as of now, three clubs want him. According to the report, this includes Fenerbahçe and two unnamed French clubs.
In short, Martial has no future at Manchester United and has to find a new club in the next window. He hasn’t made an appearance for the Red Devils since their 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth in December.
