Two days ago, we covered claims from Turkey that Fenerbahçe have shown interest in Donny van de Beek who is looking forward to leaving Manchester United. He can still move to Turkey as the transfer window there closes on September 15th.
The 26-year-old hasn’t played for the Red Devils this season and the chances of featuring regularly look slim.
Fenerbahçe are looking for a new midfielder and the Manchester United player could be an option for them, according to Fanatik.
It’s said the Dutchman has been offered to the Yellow Canaries on loan, without making it clear about the terms of the loan deal and if there would be an option/obligation to buy attached to it.
The former Ajax man prefers to operate in central and attacking midfield, while the Turkish club are looking for a No.6. He doesn’t fit their requirements but that doesn’t mean a deal cannot be carried out.
Fanatik say İsmail Kartal has used summer signing Fred [arrived from Manchester United] in central midfield to support the attack, and the Fenerbahçe coach could use him in a deeper position, if Van de Beek were to arrive at the club.
Therefore, the report says the decision to sign the Manchester United man is ‘left entirely’ to the Fenerbahçe manager.
