Three days ago, we covered multiple claims from Italy which stated Juventus have taken a slow, patient approach in their pursuit of Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
The Serie A side are keen on signing the winger as both Thiago Motta and their technical director, Cristiano Giuntoli, like him a lot.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say the Manchester United player’s arrival at Juve would depend on Federico Chiesa’s exit.
Juve are looking to offload Chiesa, who has a year left on his deal, for €25m this summer, and their idea is to replace him with the Englishman.
Sancho hasn’t made an appearance for Manchester United since his fallout with Erik ten Hag at the start of last season, and was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January. He’ll leave the Red Devils and the Turin club have come forward to sign him now.
The 24-year-old is well aware of the Old Lady’s interest. It’s claimed he has a ‘mad desire’ to make a switch to Italy, which is why he wouldn’t say no to Juventus.
Manchester United are ready to let Sancho leave for €50-55m plus bonuses. Juve have been made aware of the asking price, but their concrete idea is to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy if certain set conditions are met.
