It’s not really a surprise, but Manchester United were present at the Estádio da Luz once again on Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils watch most of Benfica’s games=, and couldn’t miss their latest Champions League clash against Lyon.

It’s newspaper A Bola who reports the visit to Lisbon, although the possible targets aren’t named in their story.

Benfica won the match 2-1, with goals scored by Rafa Silva and Pizzi. Memphis Depay got Lyons solitary goal.

There’s one specific Benfica player who’s been linked to Manchester United for at least a year now, and that’s Ruben Dias. The Portuguese press continues reporting the Red Devils’ interest in signing the Portuguese defender.

Scouts from United are probably used to seeing it by now, but Dias had another good performance last night, looking safe and secure as always.

The defender is currently protected by a €66m release clause, and according to the latest reports from Portugal, he’s on the verge of signing a new contract which would raise that amount.

But if the Old Trafford club didn’t move for him in the summer, it’s hard to imagine them making an attempt in January.
