Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s move from Manchester United to Bayer Leverkusen is 100% completed, with the German side expected to announce a deal today.

That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, via journalist Max Bielefeld, who says the player has signed his contract with his new side and the deal is ‘100% done’.

The defender is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season and despite efforts from those in charge at Old Trafford, has looked likely to move away this month.

Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen were both linked with moves over the last week, but the latter appear to have won the race for his signature.

Yesterday, we brought you news from Germany that Fosu-Mensah was flying to Germany to undergo his medical with the Bundesliga club ahead of a proposed €2m move.

That deal has now been completed, with the defender signing a three-year deal at his new club after completing a medical this morning.

Bayer Leverkusen are now expected to formally announce the move from Manchester United at some point today.
