Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek was in attendance to watch Eintracht Frankfurt’s 2-1 win against Borussia Monchengladbach as he finalises a loan deal to the German club.
That’s according to BILD, who say that the Dutchman’s move to the Bundesliga side is now all but finalised.
Reports throughout this week have indicated that Eintracht Frankfurt were pushing to get a surprise deal done ahead of the January transfer window.
Those reports indicated that they wanted a deal done before the club return from the German winter break so that he can integrate with the squad as quickly as possible.
Thus, they’ve been working to get the deal done with Manchester United as a result and reports had indicated he had already travelled to undergo his medical and everything else.
BILD now follow that up and say the midfielder was in attendance to watch Frankfurt’s 2-1 win over Gladbach ‘in a box at the stadium.’
That then, would indicate the deal with Manchester United is all but completed and the Dutchman will be making the move sooner rather than later with an announcement around the corner.
