The Italian media spent a long time claiming Inter Milan could lose Denzel Dumfries at the end of this season, but now his exit seems a lot more certain.

Chelsea and Manchester United are labelled as the favourites in this race, as Inter Live now feature a piece on his future.

The outlet has a story talking about Inter Milan’s plans once they get the fullback sold next summer.

There, it’s claimed there’s ‘tremendous pressure’ from Premier League clubs for the Dutchman, with Chelsea and Manchester United fighting for the signing.

It’s said Inter Milan pretend to make at least €40m with that sale, and will be able to use part of that money in new signing. They had been looking for free agents, but that will allow them to spend a little more.

A few weeks ago, it’d be fair to say it was Chelsea who were more linked to Dumfries, but more recently, several reports started showing up saying Erik ten Hag wants the player to be signed by Manchester United.

With Inter Milan already convinced of selling him, it seems it’ll be a matter of which Premier League side puts more money on the table to convince the Nerazzurri.
