Manchester United remain on the ‘attack’ for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen alongside Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who insist the trio of European giants remain in the hunt for the highly sought after Napoli star.
The newspaper explains that Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has made it clear that they don’t want to sell any of their stars this summer and Osimhen is at the top of that list.
That is his will, but the reality is different and if any huge offers were to arrive, they would have to be looked at regardless of the lack of desire to sell an indispensable player.
All three are ‘on the attack’ for the player but that seems more like a hope from Napoli, or the Italian papers, than anything concrete.
The three are only mentioned in passing more than anything serious, something of a namedrop to prove how great De Laurentiis is as he’s fighting to reject big offers from big clubs for his star man.
We will therefore take this with a massive pinch of salt for the time being and wait for something more concrete before believing Manchester United or anyone is making a huge move for Osimhen.
