Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the latest clubs said to be keen on signing Fluminense’s André Trindade.
That’s according to TNT Sports, who say Manchester United and Wolves have carried out negotiations with the 23-year-old’s agent.
The Premier League duo haven’t yet sent an offer to the Brazilian club. This information was provided by journalist Aline Nastari.
She took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to add that the player and his representatives are not ruling out a move to another league this summer.
In fact, the Brazil international ‘wants to leave’ and the clash against Grêmio earlier this week may have been his last outing for Fluminense. Nastari claims ‘it’s essential’ for his side to sell André to raise funds.
This may please both Manchester United and Wolves, but they have to make an offer to secure his services.
Fluminense requested €30m plus €5m bonuses when Fulham made an offer of €25m. This would be the fee the Red Devils and Gary O’Neil’s side need to sign the player.
TNT Sports’ claim about Wolves is backed up by UOL, who add that they are considering making a formal offer for André. They make no mention of Manchester United in that report.
André has been linked with Premier League clubs all summer, Fulham specifically, and at various times it looked like a move was on the verge of happening. This looks like a complicated deal to do with a week left.
