Adama Traoré has scored four goals for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League this season, out of which three have come against Manchester City over two games, and the other came in his side’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old has five goals and seven assists in all competitions for Wolves this season and his performances has seen him being linked to Pep Guardiola’s side, Barcelona and Liverpool.
Journalist Miguel Rico, writing on the last page of today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo, has provided a short update on the reports linking him to the English champions.
The former Aston Villa man is reportedly valued at €70m by Wolves and Rico claims ‘informal sources’ have indicated that City are unwilling to meet the demands of Nuno Espírito Santo’s side for the player.
However, the Etihad club have informed Wolves to notify them before selling Traoré in the future.
Traoré joined Wolves from Middlesbrough in 2018 and his current deal at Molineux expires in 2023.
