Manchester City star expected to miss Sevilla clash – Unlikely to travel, injured after Burnley game

Playing the entire 90 minutes against Burnley for Manchester City, Bernardo Silva may have overexerted himself.

Therefore, seemingly as a precaution, it’s believed the Portuguese forward ‘shouldn’t part of the trip’ to Athens, where Pep Guardiola and his men will take on the Europa League winners.

Therefore, the Spanish manager will have to make do without one of his key players as they chase another trophy after last season’s treble.

This all comes after the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have made a few attempts to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City; something Guardiola is very reluctant to do after already losing Riyad Mahrez this summer.
