Despite not playing for Manchester City that often, Phil Foden remains one of the more exciting names in the football world when it comes to young talent.

The young Englishman has only made one appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League this season in a 10 minute cameo against West Ham in the season opener, yet he is one of the final 20 players for Tuttosport’s Goden Boy award.

Surrounded by names such as compatriot Jadon Sancho, favourite João Félix and Vinícius Jr., the 19-year-old can only be considered an outside shot for the trophy due to his lack of game time, but never say never.

Then again, England U21 international does already have 40 appearances to his name for the Premier League champions, and has found the back of the net eight times since being used sparingly.

If he were to win, he would become to the second Manchester City player to receive the award after Mario Balotelli in 2010.
