Manchester City summer signing Oleksandr Zinchenko is edging close to a loan move to PSV. The Ukraine international is unlikely to get many chances at Manchester City this season due to the competition for places.
Dutch newspaper AD have reported Zinchenko is close to signing for PSV following claims in the Ukraine media that Zinchenko missed training yesterday. PSV star Florian Jozefzoon has been linked with a move to Turkey this summer, and in the event the player does leave the Dutch champions, Zinchenko is seen as somebody who could fill that void.
Zinchenko’s agent this week revealed a deal could be done by Friday for the youngster. PSV have already brought in Newcastle United’s Siem de Jong this week as the club look to bolster their midfield options.
Zinchenko recently joined Manchester City despite only having one season with his former club Ufa. Despite his age the youngster has already represented his country 6 times, and was part of the squad for the Euros.
